What is Weatherization? ❄️
Home weatherization improves a house’s energy efficiency by sealing air leaks, adding insulation, and optimizing heating and cooling systems to maintain a stable indoor temperature. These upgrades reduce the amount of energy needed to keep a home comfortable, which lowers monthly utility bills. Over time, weatherization also enhances comfort, improves air quality, and helps home systems last longer.
Through LIHEAP, Maravilla Foundation offers extensive home energy services to our participant households.
This program aids qualified low-income families with weatherization services including:
Attic Insulation
Refrigerator Replacement
Carbon Monoxide Testing
Furnace Repair and Replacement
Installing Water-Saving Devices
Minor Home Repairs
Energy Savings and Crisis Plans
Managing Home Energy Bills
There are additional measures that our program offers. Since our company’s start, we have weatherized thousands of homes to make them energy efficient.
Home Appliances Services 🔧
Maravilla Foundation plays an important role in strengthening communities and homes. A key aspect of our weatherization program is appliances. Our company offers qualified applicants the ability to receive no-cost appliance services.
Through our LIHEAP program, eligible applicants may receive the following services/items:
Hot Water Heater Repair or Replacement
Stove Repair or Replacement
Refrigerator Repair or Replacement
Furnace Repair or Replacement
Air-Conditioners Repair or Replacement

How to Apply
LIHEAP Weatherization Application Instructions
BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION, CLICK HERE TO VERIFY THAT YOUR ZIP CODE IS IN OUR SERVICE AREA
1) Please complete & attach ALL of the REQUIRED forms listed in the LIHEAP Document Checklist (Below) along with the completed Weatherization applications (PDF's listed at the bottom of this section).
2) After completion, please submit the application and ALL required documents. You can submit through the following method(s):

Checklist ✅
1. Current Electric Bill (last 6 weeks; send copies of all pages)
2. Current Gas Bill (last 6 weeks; send copies of all pages)
3. Current Household Income
Everyone living in the household 18+ years old must present proof of income.*
If a household member DOES NOT have an income, CSD 43B form must be filled out.
- For Self-Employed, Cash Income, Cash/Loan Assistance: send an affadavit / letter stating this situation
- For Self-Employed: send copy of current tax forms
- For Section 8 or HUD: send copy of the voucher program / contract verification
- For Property Managers that are authorized to sign forms: send copy of Property Owner Authorization Letter
